Carbing Up...HELP!!! AHHH!!!
I haven't been able to workout in a while, so I've stayed on my keto diet and haven't carbed up in a long time. I have a planned circuit/glycogen depleting workout scheduled for Friday, but I need help. What should my diet look like over the next couple of days including Friday, provided I'm going to carb up (Holiday Party) on Saturday, and Monday (Xmas day). The 24th won't be a problem, as I have the morning free and am working later in the day, but I was just wondering how I can control the damage and what I should eat, what should my workouts be between now and the 27th or so. My main problem is that two carb ups are so close together, and I don't know what to do about it...ANY advice would be appreciated!

I suppose my plan would be:
Wed/Thur - Healthy Fats (Peanut & Fish Oil/CLA) with Lean Protein
Fri - Dextrose/Whey PWO, Liquid Protein/Calories for rest of day
Sat - Lean Protein in the morning/Holiday Party/Restaurant/Nothing
Sun - Whey PWO. Lean Protein w/some healthy fats all day long (Lower calorie day)
Mon - Xmas Feast
Tue - Whey PWO. Lean Protein w/some healthy fats all day long (Lower calorie day)
Wed and After - Back to the 65-30-5 Keto diet
Sound good???

Thanks! I'm thinking I'll be out of Ketosis and bloated between the 22nd and the 28th or so because I haven't had carbs in such a long time, and I also have two carbups so close together without a chance for recovery...but I think if I eat MUCH lower cal on the days surrounding them, and start keto up again with healthy fats right after Xmas, I should be fine.

Well, I'm having lean protein this week because it's all I have in the fridge, and I'm going to cover it with oils. Also, I'm upping the protein intake around the holidays because of the thermic and the diuretic effect of it as I'm going to be bloated haha.

Otay
But remember, a lot of people need to switch their macros up to as much as 80% fat after they have a "dirty" carb up. So that might help you as well.
As for the bloating...caffeine couldn't hurt to help flush you out

Is the 80% to get back into ketosis faster? Or? Wouldn't the carbs still in you prevent you from burning all of the fat that you're consuming?
