    Glucosamine for Shoulder Problems?

For a few months now, I have been having tearing pain in my shoulder doing certain exercises, including incline press, dips, bicep curls, and just about anything involving pushing or pulling with the anterior deltoid. The shoulder clicks ALOT if I hold my arm up at a 45 degree angle, and rotate it down and up. It only hurts when I do a decent amount of weight. I am pretty sure this is from not warming up properly over the years. I will probably eventually see a specialist, but before doing all that and before even thinking about re constructive surgery (worse case) I would like to try and heal it doing rotator cuff exercises while taking glucosamine for it.

So I guess my question is, if I manage to heal it, should I stop taking the glucosamine?

Hard to say, best bet would be to ask a qualified doctor and take some time off lifting to heal.

take some time off. if it doesn't get better after lets say 2-3 weeks.. then see a doctor. if you really have to workout then don't do those exercises and if you really have to do those exercises then at least lower the weight and do more reps.
