    Is it possible to gain muscle mass without gaining actual weight?

    Well the title pretty much says it.Is it possible to gain muscle mass but not gain weight at the same time?

    He're right, gaining muscle will increase your weight. Only way to maintain the weight is to lose body fat.

    Correct answer, but it looks like he stopped typing too soon

    Should be finished with ". . .doing so is very difficult". But also not uncommon, especially with new guys initially getting into shape.
