how do you take measurements? i know how to do arms, but that's all. i don't know about waist, chest, shoulders, legs, and whatever else there is. plus, how do you do it by yourself?

To measure your chest : Raise your arms slightly and measure just under your arms. Be sure to cross over the shoulder blades and the fullest part of the chest
For legs, go around the widest part of your quad/hamstring (do the same thing to measure calves) and tense the muscles
For waist same as chest but measure from the belly button
Don't know about shoulders, but I think it is similar to chest

I take measurements about every 3 weeks, but monthly will work fine. Just don't take measurements too often - it will get discouraging. Also, make sure you are taking your measurements relaxed. DO NOT FLEX when taking measurements. If you're flexing, you are not getting an accurate measurement.
