Ahh I see so you only take in certain foods and certain times?I don't think I would have a bar at that time of the day either . I think I get what you are saying. Best of luck with your test Mike.

Can anyone give me their opinions on the following bars. I'd love to try and review some, but I can't buy 12 pack after 12 pack and expect to have any money left haha, so any opinions on the taste of any of the following bars would be greatly appreciated!

AllMax IsoFlex Bars - (They look SO good)
VPX Zero Impact
Sustain Bar
Labrada Lean Body (Any kind)
Promax & OutRageous
Universal HiBar, Protoria, Proteon

Ive tried probably about 15-20 different kinds so far....and these are, in my opinion, the best tasting ones. Im talking low sugar bars too, I dont get any with high sugars.

Glad you like the wafer bars. They are delish. Pretty low on carbs + cals. We are coming out with Peanut Butter Cup, Vanilla and Peanut Butter Vanilla just past the 1st of the year.

Yeah, the choc mints ones may be the only ones I buy anymore.....im starting to make my own using some of the recipes on here. Turning out pretty good!

Just curious, but any idea as to why ISS chose Palm Oil as its primary fatty acid source? Though less harmful than partially hydrogenated vegetable oil, it is far more conducive to heart disease than such heart-protective liquid oils as olive, soy, and canola due to its high saturated fat content.

i liked vpx (pumpkin is better than pb)
labrada cookie bars are great (pb flavor is best)
promax bars are very sweet, definitely more candy bar like.

of these bars, only vpx and sustain have decent ingredient profiles, though. the rest are certainly cheats.

Honestly, I didnt' expect to like the Vanilla almond after people said it was plain.......but I think those people are insane. I loved the PB Fudge Sustain bars for content and quality, but there were other (lower quality) bars that tasted subjectively better. There is no doubt that Vanilla Almond Sustain Bar is my favorite TASTING bar outside Oh Yeah PB/Strawberry, but for content reasons alone, Sustain is better. I'm VERY impressed.

MHP UP YOUR MASS is in my opinion the best. 350 calories i think.
30 grams of protein minimal carbs and all that other stuff

every flavor cant be beat. best tasting. dont got it--get it.

plus they go on sale at our local gnc for like 20 a box so thats always a plus.

Detour has some good flavors, and a profile to match whatever your looking for between all their bars (as long as you can tolerate Sweetners)

taste wise, from all the bars ive tasted, ISS Oh Yeah! Protein Wafer Bars Chocolate PB bars are the absolute BOMB. Ridiculously good tasting. Great keto bars with just 3g of carbs as well.

Ingredient profile wise, DS Sustain Bar, VPX Zero Impact, PBL Pure Omega Bars, Xyience Breakfast Bar

Macro Wise: for Keto, ISS Wafer Bars, higher carb: Sustain. Overall nutrient profile to fit into a cutting or bulking diet pretty easily,
