What are some good exercises to have someone with bad posture do to correct this? Like specific back or shoulder exercises that would help correct his forward shoulders? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Lat Pulldowns.......... Before each repetition, squeeze your shoulder blades together as if you were holding a pencil between them. Then pull the bar down slowly. This helps to make sure your not using your amrs to much.

.And walk around with good posture, make it a conscious effort and after a while it'll just be the way you stand/sit/walk etc.
When sitting at your computer, driving or whatever just be aware of your posture and over time it will become habit.
As for specific exercises all I can suggest is making sure your abs and lower back are worked well as this will help your posture.http://www.hardcorebodybuilding.net/hb-db/phpBB2/index.php - only place I post now!
