20 DM bands

I introduced my friend to metal and death metal a little bit but since im a noob when it comes to it i need some help. So I was hoping to get people that know what they are talking about (ie. Morbid Mind) in here and recommend 10-20 of the best bands out there or that were out there.

Btw he doesnt like anything slow and really liked cryptopsy.

i've been listening to decapitated (poland) a lot lately. organic hallucinosis is a pretty ****in good album. i just picked it up recently but it's been out for a while

my friend is really starting to like DM and I have been listening to it a lot more myself and I downloaded a lot of the stuff listed above. Im still hoping rocky or morbid will come in here and recommend some other bands or even bands best albums or songs even.

*edit ill have to say my favorites atm are deicide, Quo Vadis, carcass (probably #1 atm need some more songs though), and morbid angel.

Ive been listening to it a lot lately at school and at work and im actually starting to really like it. Im still hoping rocky or morbid will come in here and recommend some other bands or even bands best albums or songs even.

agreed. The other ones i listen to have already been mentioned. Behemoth, Decapitated, Nile, At the Gates, Suffocation, Job for a cowboy- maybe not death but..., Dying Fetus, Devourment, etc.

If you can locate it pick up the 'Best Of' Carcass 2 disc set...it's a Japanese only release(Limited 10,000)...i bought mine awhile ago...but you might be able to find a copy out there somewhere...pretty complete comp...with a disc of live songs too....


Or you can just go with the Earache release 'Choice Cuts'....
