Fat Burnin, Eat anytime, Soup Recipe...
I thought I would post this badboy on here.. I love this stuff and almost always have some in the fridge or stored away in the freezer. It tastes damn good and really gets you sweating! Make a ton and stick some in the freezer. I like mine really spicy, the heat is good for your heart as spicy foods make your blood platelets "less stickey" (as my cardiologist neighbor says.)
MAUDE’S FAT BURNING, EAT ANY TIME, VEGETABLE SOUP….
1-2 LARGE CANS OF STEWED TOMATOES (CRUSED, DICED -DOESN'T MATTER)
1 - 2 QUARTS OF WATER
2-3 TBLS SOUP BASE BEEF OR CHICKEN (use your own stock if you make it)
1/2 A HEAD OF CABBAGE, SLICED OR CHOPPED (sometimes I use a bag of frozen brussel sprouts)
1 LARGE ONION - SLICED OR CHOPPED
SEVERAL CELERY STALKS- CHOPPED
Whatever kind of PEPPERS YOU HAVE AND LIKE
A BOX or BAG OF FROZEN SPINACH - CHOPPED OR LEAF
1 - 2 CUPS OF THAT FROZEN VEGETABLE MIX (CORN, BEANS, PEAS, ETC)
1/2 Cup to Cup of Jalepenos INCLUDING THE VINEGAR FROM THE JAR.
ADD GARLIC SALT, SALT PEPPER, some hot dried PEPPERS or SEEDS FOR SOME HEAT, and ANY OTHER KIND A SEASONING SALT OR SPICES THAT YOU HAVE & (LIKE LOWRYS)TO YOUR TASTE.
SIMMER UNTIL VEGETABLES ARE SOFT, AND THE SEASONINGS MIX IN.
BUENO!!
ENJOY!

Basically just fill your whole pot with whatever veggies you have and like and top it off with water and let it slowly cook. Add some beans, quinoa, or other legumes for some protein. If you make stock add it (its easy, just save all your bones in a ziplock in the freezer until you have a ton and cook them in a giant pot until they all compart all their nutrient and geletin and good stuff to the water, strain, bag, and freeze. -great for your bones and joints).

Glad you like it. Aside from adding a nice tang, I think the vinegar and all the spice (I add a lot) helps speed your metabolism up and works as a gentle diuretic. I love the stuff, but it does make me sweat when I eat it... Hehe.

Basically its like Garlichead says... Its a very low calorie soup that you can load up on and eat anytime during your cut to fill up. Its good, full of vitamins and nutrients, and wouldnt hurt your diet even if you sat around eating it all day long. Plus, all the fiberous low gi veggies really do help you get shredded during a cut.
The spice, heat, and vinegar also do their part to make this recipe particularly good for cutting.

Thoughts, comments, ideas to improve?
You could probably add some chicken breast or whitefish to beef it up a bit... I bet the whitefish would be good!

Don't you get way more spinach with the frozen stuff over the one in a bag?

I am not sure. The blocks in the box are pretty dense, whereas with the bagged spinach not so much. Either way, its not exactly a precise recipe. Just add as much of each thing as you like.

You might try some dried porcini mushrooms. Porcini adds another dimension in taste which the Japanese call "umami" translated, means savory or meaty. And with little cals to boot.

Looks delicious, or at least like a savory hunger diversion other than popping a can of tuna and making a sandwich.

Muchos!
Not sure man, depends on how much water and other goodies you add. You can always add more spice, vinegar, and water. I just make sure when it is done it fills the WHOLE pot.
If you want, you can then put it in small plastic bags and put them in the freezer. Then I will just pull out a bag, peel off the bag, put it in a boil and zip in the microwave -presto soup.

sounds good. I'm going to try it.
The only thing i'm worried about is the sodium content. I mean, even w/o the salt the chicken or beef base are pretty high.

Your correct that a lot of the storebought stocks have high sodium contents. I make my own stock, so its not an issue. You dont have to use stock, but look and see if you can find a healthy storebrand -it would taste better. BTW, making stocks is extremely healthy, cheap, and worth it... check it out. (AMAZING for the joints btw)

Its easy... just start saving your bones. Keep a ziplock bag in the freezer and everytime you have chicken bones or parts just stick them in there until you have a big bag or two.
