    Temperature does it have effect?

Does temperature in room or gym effect your workout? If so what is ideal temperature for workingout?

the higher the temperature the the higher the thermogenetic effect on the body. but i think it would be stupid to weight lift in a hot garage because you'd hit the wall a lot sooner than you otherwise would. the only way i see it having an effect is swimming where you body is surrounded by 70 - 75 degree water or maybe working out in a very cold gym.

Sure it does, that's why I always bring multiple layers to the gym to adjust.

If it is too cold, then it takes a long time to warm-up. Not good for those with joint issues, IMO. If it is too hot, it drains you of energy. Doubt this? Go outside and train in 100 degree heat. We will see how much energy you have during your session.
Try to keep the training area at room temperature.

When you are could, the body uses more energy to keep you at normal body temperature as opposed to cooling it off.

I prefer to be chilly when I walk into a gym, that way when I start to get into my workout it cools me down.

I recommend that you train in a vacuum which is maintained at absolute zero for maximum intensity. It takes a little longer to warm up but the results are worth it!

negligible - just like being cold burns more calories.
growth hormone is caused by stress, any stimulus your body is not used to, hot showers are better in this case. being too hot in the gym is definately not a good idea. keep your joints warm, but don't overheat or sweat like a pig if you don't have to.

if you're doing legs, wear pants, if your working arms, chest, back... weat a long sleeve and some shorts.

    Most Important!
    Be comfortable.

i seem to have a good workout when the temperature is exactly 25.381 degrees,.
on a serious sort of related note, i have both extremes where i workout. In the winter its freezing so i wear about 3 layers to the gym, and in the summer its so hot that my cloths look like iv just jumped in a pool with them on

warm muscles are stronger than cold muscles. Even if the gym is cold, do as many warm up sets are you need to get your body temperature up so that your muscles can function optimally.

If its too hot, drink plenty of water. Even if its too cold drink plenty of water.

Oh and if you're in a vacuum, you definitely need plenty of water.

true. Your body compensates by trying to burn more energy to produce heat and by releasing thyroxin which ups oxygen consumption by tissues and of course your body will burn more calories. If you train in cold weather though you have to warm up a little more than usual and make sure that your rest periods between sets aren't quite as long. So if you are cutting, it might aid you to to do so in cold weather.

The reason why some prefer to bulk in winter is because cold weather also stimulates appetite and you're gonna be covered up anyway, so they cut in spring to get ready for summer when most people hit the beach.

i took a hotass shower a few days ago, sat in there for like 20 mins lol. i got out, and i felt so relaxed, yet i felt very flexible and warmed up. I think im gonna do this on teh Powerclean days(most intense), see if it helps. But i prefer working out in a semi cool room so i dont sweat like a dog halfway through.

Temperature should idealy be high. The higher the temperature the less likely you are to injure yourself. So basicly the highest you can take without having that "lazifying" effect.
