So, here's my story. When I started lifting last February, I weighed 135 lbs at about 15% body fat. I got up to 155 lbs in June, then over the summer and fall, lost 15 lbs. (I worked 72 hour weeks and now seldom eat well because I hate cafe food.) Right now, I weigh 140 lbs at 17% body fat! I can still see my abs (when I tense up my stomach) but there's definitely been some loss of definition. I am pretty toned in my arms, but now I have a bit of weight in my face which I'd like to get rid of.
I'm currently looking to bulk again, but 17% at 140 lbs seems like a lot of body fat to me. Maybe I should cut first? If I cut, I'll look anorexic, so I'm not really sure. My goal--ultimately--is to hit 165 lbs at 8 - 10% body fat.
Can it be done?
What do I need to do?
