Absolutely!
Definitely is making me re-think a few things!"it's always a good day to start lifting"
Flex Magazine, Mar. '07, pg.44
"There is no secret routine, there is no magical number of reps and sets. What there is, is confidence, belief, hard work on a consistant basis, and a desire to succeed. This is what I mean when I say accept your limits and when the time is right, you will push right through your limits time and time again, mentally and physically."

I dont know why you people are saying thats sad.
Sure I practically cried (im the kind of guy who kicks puppies for distance) but its because it was so goddamn beauitful."I keep a bottle of testosterone sitting on a triple-layer bench shirt in the back of my gym, but I have yet to see it bench 5 pounds"

Rick and his Dad are great people. Nothing sad about it. They live their life the way they want.
I do programs for schools about being an athlete and having a severe disability. I know many disabled athletes. All of you should attend the Paralympic which isn't the same as Special Olympics. For people like me, Rick, Alosha, etc, we fight and do our damndest to live our dreams.
Because of my family and friends, I know I'll obtain my future dreams as I live one daily. It's a great feeling helping people achieve the body of their dreams.B.S. Exercise Science, M.S. Rehabilitation, C.P.T.
Live life to the fullest, for you never know what will happen tomorrow.--------
Keep at it!

What a coincidence...after readin this post this morning I turn on the College Football Awards show tonight and one of the awards was the Spirit award which was won by a young man named Patrick Hughes from University of Louisville. He is blind and in a wheelchair but is quite the musical genius. He plays on the Louisville Marching band and his dad pushes him in the wheelchair in the procession on the field.
It doesn't stop there. The young mans dad works graveyard shift at UPS from 11pm-6am comes home sleeps till 11am and then takes his son to college and goes to al classes with him and to all band practices....
These stories should make everyone think twice before bitching..
