    5' 10"- 215-220 lbs

    I've been training for 5 years on and off. Back into ithe gym for a full year again and made pretty good progress. Here a couple of fairly recent pics of me- camera phone quality. Sorry. Also, the dreaded what do you think my BF % is question? I believe around 17%.

    It's hard to tell, but I'm definitely not seeing 17%. I'd say you're somewhere between 20-25%.

    Here's some more pictures taken today.

    Hopefully im not around 25% BF. I was thinking about bulking a little more till the end of Jan. then start cutting, but if i am really around 25%, i think i may just start cutting now. Opinions?

    by the looks of those pictures your not 17%, your higher, prolly about 22%-25% bodyfat, better start cutting as its gonna take awhile if you wana hang on to some of that muscle.

    im not sure what your bf% is but like stated above your friggin jacked dude, if u decide to go ahead and cut you'll see some really awesome changes take place, just remember do it slow and you only wanna lose around 2lbs a week, it would suck to see all that muscle to go to waste, good luck man and make sure to post progress pics

    I would say 18-22%

    He may have naturally big shoulders. That still doesn't mean he isn't at 20%. When if he leans out I bet he will be in the 180-185 range at 8%-10% believe it or not. Of course he will look huge but he still will be light.

    I guess I should strat cutting and drop around 15-20 lbs and evaluate myself at that time. I think i will look a lot better at that point imo. I didn't think i was as fat as some are saying but at least it's a reality check. I thought around 17-20% to be honest. I was planning on cutting closer to Feb. but not anymore-starting to clean up my diet and introducing cardio once again now but will have a strict diet after the holidays.

    Hopefully i can put on a few pounds of lean muscle in the process too.

    Over 20 percent bf is a load of crap. All you guys who are sitting at 180 and 10 pecent bf need to do some math, the higher the weight the less percentage of bf the guy is gonna have. He may have quite a bit of fat on him and if it was the same amount of fat as a 180 pounder sure, 20-25 percent. But putting a guy at anything less than 180 lbm is absurd. Im honestly guessing 15-18.

    Did you cut a lot of water when you weighed yourself at 220? I would guess if you are 5'10 your weight to be more like 240. We can't see your legs so it's hard to tell. As you can see I'm the same height/weight as you but my chest and arms are not that thick and I have under 14% bf, so something doesn't add up. Then again, I do have big legs.

    Anyway I would guess 21% bf.

    Do you know what 12% bodyfat looks like. He is far from that. Bodyfat is bodyfat regardless of height or weight.

    I watched the Fitshows prep for the Nationals, and when Lionel Brown started cutting he was over 12, but under 13 percent bf. If i remember correctly he was somewhere around 260, and looked like ****. Now this isnt the greatest comparison and is why i suggested somwhere between 15-18 percent. And i know what 12 perecent looks like on a guy Tom4212 size, im roughly the same height, a little taller, and have been 190 at 8 percent, all the way to 245 at 20-22 percent bf.

    I'd have to guess 21-23% BF. Man you have some great size under that fat though. Cut and you will be f'n huge.

    I took the last three months off- just started getting back into the routine about 3 weeks ago. It's real tough with school and work. Esp when you are aiming to get a 4.0 for the semester which i should end up getting.

    I bulked pretty much for the 8 or so months leading up to my 3 month layoff. I ate pretty much anything man. Pretty ****ty i know but after a while it just becomes routine.
