Question Weight Lifting for Vegans and Vegetarians: QUESTION!

Hi,

I am a partial vegetarian, meaning I eat eggs and some dairy products. I do not eat chicken, turkey, read meat, etc. I eat fish sparingly.... (i.e less than once/week).

I use Whey Protein and Soy protein to suppement my diet. I eat eggs about 2-3 week (I am avoiding them b/c of Cholesterol)....

I have reached a plateau in some of my excercises... Besides the obvious (i.e. increasing the amount of whey protein I consume, etc), do you have any other suggestions?

I am pretty sure I have some diet problem. I have been able to loose weight but I have reached a plateau in my muscle gains...

Any vegan or vegetarian weight lifters?

I have heard that vegans (which I am techinically not) have to eat 2 times more protein than meat-eaters b/c of BA issues. Anyone has personal experience with this?

Thanks
