Good pull. I approve of everything but the socks, they're kind of dull. Bright red would complete the ensemble much better. The kind that Benni wears, with his slippers. Very christmasy

even with conventional DL shouldn't your hips go down more? Because it looks like your pulling with just your lower back there.

Nice weight man. Your form looks a lot like mine. It is hard for me to get my hips real low. I have very long legs and short upper body. I am 6'0 tall. not as tall as you

Form looked perfect to me, especially for his proportions. Probably why he's 16 and pulling 530. At the start of every pull his chest is up, hips back, and his back is at least 30° or higher which keeps it safe. No stiff-legging there and the lockouts were clean.
Keep in mind when someone lifts their max it's not always going to be textbook. And above all it's a pull, not a "reverse squat." Legs should initially assist the back to get the bar moving but not dominate the lift.

Good stuff Randall!
I'm thinking of training both for a while. I've only been deadlifting for a month and mostly did sumo because of my body proportions, but I think I'll train conventional as well and see which works better for me. I've seen Randall's sumo and conv and both look good - but it also goes to show that the expert opinions that say short legs/med torso (me) should pull sumo and the longer folks should pull conv aren't always right!
