Can I train upper body for hyper trophy and train legs/lower body for strength ?
I mean, my main goal is becoming big/aestetic, cut.
Therefore I usually train in the 8-12 rep range.
However it occurred to me, couldn't I train lower body in a 5/3/1 rep sceme and just go for strength in my legs rather than size ?
5/3/1 will still build size, so I don't see why i couldn't.
I just want maximum strength in lower body for obvious reasons.
Thoughts?
