ingrown hair

hello everyone i am getting pretty lean for spring break it is pretty awesome out here in hawaii but my question is when i shave my chest i get lot of ingrown hairs does anyone have any tip on hair removal without getting ingrown hairs i used a mach 3 for shaving

I know when I shave for a contest I always get a few ingrown hairs around the belly button. Due to this, I always make sure to shave 2 weeks out and then right before. I think that if you are used to shaving you won't get the ingrown hairs as much, but if you just shave occassionally it will happen.
