Betancourt Big Blend 4 Flavor Review

Thanks to tatteredsaint for choosing me to sample these. Ive seen nothing but positive reviews for every flavor so far. Profile looks pretty good with 22g of protein blend per 120 calories with nitrates and digestive enzymes. Im not a fan of the carrageenan though.

Choco-Latte

Taste- Tastes great, and Im not a big fan of coffee flavors. It is chocolate with a very good amount of coffee flavor and sweetness to it. It does however taste artificial, but I think the overall taste outweighs that.
Mixibility- It blended up perfect in 10oz of water, no clumps stuck to the cup. Looks like a little bit of what Im assuming is grain or fiber sits on the sides of the cup after each sip.
Texture- The texture is good, thicker than XF protein but not quite as thick as Myofusion. It is a little grainy likely due to the rice protein, almost similar to SciFits Protalyn for anyone who has had it.

French Vanilla

Taste- Tastes like a typical vanilla, not as sweet as the others. It also has the slight aftertaste the other have.
Mixibility- Mixed up perfect like the others.
Texture- Same as the others, seems a little less grainy however.

Vanilla Cappuccino

Taste- It tastes like a really good sweet vanilla with a coffee flavor to it, I dont drink coffee or mocha flavored drinks so its hard for me to describe. Again, it has the chemical aftertaste
Mixibility- Mixed up perfect, same as before.
Texture- Less of a grainy texture than the Choco-Latte.

White Chocolate

Taste- I dont really taste any White Chocolate, to me it seems like a sweet vanilla. Its almost like a cake batter.
Mixibility-Mixed up perfect, same as before.
Texture- Same thick, slightly grainy texture.

Overall I would order the flavors White Chocolate and Vanilla Cappuccino the best, Choco-Latte a very close second, and French Vanilla easily the worst of the four. The first three are very interchangeable in terms of which tastes best and dont seem like flavors I would ever get tired of. Im not a fan of vanilla which might be why I placed it last, however I had have much better vanillas. The chemical aftertaste is not a big issue either, its just something that is present and noticeable.
Its currently 20% off, so now is the time to buy for anyone looking to try this. Cant really go wrong with whatever flavor you choose. Despite the aftertaste, these are definitely some of the best and most unique flavors I have ever had.

I think the after taste you are referring to is the use of rice protein, not exactly chemical but tastes different.

could be, i have no idea whats causing it. its not a big deal, i just felt it was worth mentioning. regardless these are still some of the best flavors ive ever had.

big blend for flavors, though ive only had the chocolate protalyn (blueberry is supposed to be really good). youre also comparing a more expensive blend to something thats more or less a whey protein.
