I can't figure this out. Bodybuilders manage to have muscle on them and be lean at the same time,
But olympic weightlifters are usually kind of fat.
Could you be the world's strongest person and still be lean at the same time?

they dont have to be lean like bodybuilders, being bigger generally means being stronger and eating big to do this makes sense
but yea Mariusz is an exception
on the right (no homo)All posts should be considered in the correct context, especially those in the Misc section.

Because an calorie excess is needed for the body to be at its strongest, when bodybuilders diet, they are at there weakest as carbs are drained from there system, that is why strongmen are alsays carry fat on them, because they eat more and do far less cardio

there we go! at least one scientific answer so far.
could it also be because the additional weight on their body gives them extra leverage with lifts?
yea. im serious.
are there some bodybuilders that are stronger than champion olympic lifters? outta curiosity.

of course theyre are. If you use performance enhancing drugs your gonna be a lot stronger than anyone whose natural. Bodybuilders DO NOT look good when theyre bulking and lifting their heaviest (compared to when theyre at competition weight...of course theyre bodies will rape the majority)
Also a good example is football. Although it seems like its been gradually changing. IM talkin bout the offensive linemen of course and Defensive Tackles.

lol not in the olympics. just ask Victor Conte. sooner or later people get pissed off and want credit and money. the olympics will take away ur medal 12 years from now if they still got what they need to do testings.
however if a guy looking like Coleman shows up you better bet your ass theyll catch him.
