Multivitamins vs Protein Shakes?

Right now all I take is 1 pack/day of Universal Animal Pak (a multivitamin supplement). Is that adequate enough? Any recommendations?

Multi-vits are good to keep the body from lacking in any macro-nutreints. But if you are bodybuilding then one of the most important supplements is a good protein to allow your body to get the extra protein it requires.
You need to take both these supps at the very least as a lot of people dont get enough from there diets.

JFraser1,

I personally do not like Universal Animal Pack. I think you would be better off with another product. There is a lot of additives in Animal Pack that are bad for you. Look for a product that doesnt use all of these additives and that is encapsulated. I really like the new product I am using which is totally different than Animal Pack. Just my thoughts.

Mickfootie,

In my opinion, a lot of guys think that protein is one of the most important things they should take as a supplement when it seems to me that replenishing energy lost due to heavy training is far more important. I think that eating more complex carbohydrates would be more beneficial.
