There are a few bodybuilders out there now who look aesthetically pleasing, but they aren't placed as high as the freaks.
Please accept my apologies for asking about this again, but I have not seen you address this yet and I hope you can with this latest workout description that I look forward to you posting:
1. Can you please talk about how Serge performs his reps? That is, how quickly did he go up and down on each rep?
2. How long did Serge rest between sets?
3. Did you guys always perform a final set of very high reps for the bodypart at the end of the workout?

04-21-2008, 07:29 PM #10952The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides with the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon those with great vengeance and with furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know that my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Good morning everyone,
Serge does controled reps from the chest to about 70% up and down to chest again in the bench press. He does not take a mini break at top he just pumps out 12,14,16,18,20,25 then 30 or 35 reps with 200lbs to 220lbs. The reps here are quite high, the weight is not bad either! he's doing this volume to put his pecs into action again. He has muscle memory and his chest was and will soon be amazing again. He takes a WIDE grip, wider than the last marks on the bar and just short of the supports! this causes more strain on the pecs, it's harder and it cuts out a lot of triceps and deltoid 'parasiting' the exercise.
His head is raised a little 'well spotted' it's his style. He even closes his eyes and gets his mind 'into' it. He does a lot of 'visualisation' when he trains. We just count besides him and away he goes on a muscle trip.....
When Serge says his arms are small and fat....it's because he knows where he has been. When you have had 22inch rock solid arms for 80% of your life, you don't accept that your arms are (only) 20,5inches and not shredded! I'm sure he can get them to 20.5 shredded i reckon even some more!
The confidence you feel when training with Serge is something. He just gets the respect of everyone in the gym. He trains differently, he is intelligent in his training, he hits the muscles so hard that today my legs are stiff again!
I've been doing legs for almost 5 months...I've not had them seize up swell up and hurt for two to three days each time. It feels like you've been beaten with baseball bats all over the body for 3 days...talk about muscle stimulation!

Between sets we take 1 minute on average. Of course when Serge was training quads with me he took 30/45 seconds rest we were two. On the bench we were 3. So it was 1 minute for the Bench press, the hammer press was around 40 seconds because we moved in and out no hanging around. The other exercises went fast also. We never passed over 1minute between sets.

I have studied Serge for some time now and I have decided to embark on my quest to eat 1,000 grams of protein per day at his recommendation. I hope I don't die from his **** advice. I see a lot of young kids here lapping it up, the next stop for them is from the messageboard to the graveyard..
musclepavel? more like muscletombstone. you are going to die at the hands of serge.
the only reason he was able to eat poop and work out 5 hours a day is because of his genetics (being an african doucher) and roids.
And for all that work, he got **** out of it and was a failure at life. Serge sucks left testicle.

You are an idiot...You have how many different accounts and every one is similar? Atleast be original you moron...Serge accomplished more in his first year of training than you will in your entire life...Your a racists whose attitude will surely lead you to failure...You will never be anything in life but im guessing youve figured that out already which is why you speak bad about other people...Speaking bad about Serge or anyone else for that matter will not make you feel better though,it will only increase your insecurity further as you try to hide behind a blanket of rudeness...Your a clown with a mentality of a child...Grow up...Still Cuckin On Four Fours, Wrapped In Four Voes

When I see that you are 15 points off of 300, I'll drop in and make it happen
Maybe....keep making good posts and you'll never know what will happen. Pavel and I go way back and he's immensely helpful (in other words, he's more than earned some greenies). Keep posting and helping the thread and you'll earn some too. It's hard to win an argument with a smart person. It's damn near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person. - Bill Murray

Serge i have been trying your routine this week and im looking great and im very sore which is a good thing...The only thing that troubles me is the time it takes to complete the routine...I just dont have enough time to follow all the excersizes...Ive been thinking of modifying it and using some of my own bulking excersizes that work well for me and was wondering if you could tell me if it looks ok and if my number of sets should be increased or decreased?
Workout A:Quads/Chest
Squat 8 x 12 (2 min rest)
Leg press 6 x 12 (1.5 min rest)
Leg extensions 6 x 12 (1 min rest)
15 minutes rest between bodyparts
Bench press 8 x 12 (1 min rest)
Incline bench press 6 x 12 (1 min rest)
Incline fly 6 x 12 (1 min rest)
Workout B:Back/Hamstrings
Chin-up 6 x 12 (1 min rest)
Bent over barbell row 6 x 12 (30 sec rest)
T-bar row 8 x 12 (30 sec rest)
15 minutes rest between bodyparts
Lying leg curl 8 x 15 (1 min rest)
Standing leg curl 8 x 15 (1 min rest)
Workout c:Shoulders/triceps/biceps/Calves
Seated military press 8 x 12 (1 min rest)
Behind the kneck press 6 x 12 (1 min rest)
Upright row 6 x 12 (1 min rest)
15 minutes rest between bodyparts
Superset:Bicep DB curl/Tricep pushdown 16 x 12 continuous (no rest)
Superset:Bicep barbell curl/Tricep dip 12 x 12 continuous (no rest)
Standing calf raise 8 x 12 (1 min rest)
Seated calf raise 8 x 12 (1min rest)
I know in a perfect world i would leave your routine the way it is,but i just dont have that much time every day so if you could take a look at my adapted version that would be great...I think i could get through this routine in the amount of time i have to train each day and still follow your general principles...What doi you think? Is this routine ok for building mass or would you change anything? Thanks......Still Cuckin On Four Fours, Wrapped In Four Voes

The guy comes back from time to time to Insult Serge!
1000gms of protein a day !!!! he knows nothing of protein contents in food. 1000gms of red meat doesn't have 100% protein levels (predigested).
Lastly, to get to any stage in any bodybuilding contest you need hard work and drive. Which you haven't got. If only it was so easy, just steroids and hello Mr Universe??? a bit easy don't you think!
Calm down, breathe. Go to the gym (kiss a bar or two and maybe the Iron Gods will forgive you?)

Serge, I know you say your a big fan of red meat, more so horse meat.
I am not sure the protien break down of it but did you ever count your grams of protien you ate a day? Along with fat and carbs? Im guessing the protien intake was pretty high but do you have a approximate guess on how much you got in you?
I do find Overall just the more protien I do intake I definatly get alot better result, Im not just sure, Im HIV postive.I'm never waking up again, so I'll never have to find out what you did.
Each day it's harder to pretend.
That your eyes aren't lying as much as your mouth did.
I'd grab your head by your hair and I'd hack it off.
And put it on display at the front of the yard on a stick that's decorated with a little pink bow
and a sign that says "Her friends and family should have taught her more about love."
