I know this is a very common thing amongst amateurs. So why am I getting pain in my sides and more importantly what can I do to stop it.
I always try to look ahead to keep my neck in line etc with my spine...
Are there any more tips like this which will help me perfect my technique.
Thanks in advance...

It might sound weird but practice stomach vacuums, then use the stomach vacuum DURING your sit ups. If that doesn't work try replacing sit ups with crunches with the same stomach vacuum during it.
This helped me big time so it MIGHT help you."I'm worried about deadlifts too. I mean the word "dead" has got to be in there for a reason. Are you sure they won't kill me?" - olympic
