    What supps have you guys used on Rippetoes ??

    Besides the usual :

    whey
    multivit
    fish oil / flax

    what sort of supps have you guys been using in your stack while following a RIPPETOE ROUTINE??

    in addition to what you have listed, I like to see people give creatine monohydrate and taurine a try, 5g daily, as well as a gallon of water

    the creatine and taurine are stupid cheap and quite effective, and assist greatly in recovery, so may as well have at it. they aren't necessary for overall health, whereas the whey, multi and O-3's are

    hey thanks mate!! I posted on your thread earlier but the question got lost with all the discussion..

    I tried monohydrate a few months ago, it didnt work for me. And I was thinking about CEE but now I hear so many conflicting stories.. hype, kidney issues etc.. so im still reading up.

    Iv got Green Mag and Glycergrow as a new addition, but havent started them yet.

    will be placing an order this weekend possibly to take advantage of bb.com thanksgiving offer

    edit : im succesfully taking in about 1 - 1.5 gallons of water a day. Im 140lbs roughyl.

    the various creatines are simply different "delivery systems"

    in the end, the same stuff is getting into your muscles. some people suffer bloating/diarrhea issues with creatine mono, in which case you can try kre-alklyn (sp) and/or CEE.

    ultimately thats the truth... and people are using it to argue about the HYPE marketing of CEE. Deal is so mnay people have switched from mono to cee and experienced the gains... im just looking into the "enlarged kidney" trolls around

    I'm taking ON 100% Whey and CEE. Just started the CEE 2 days ago. It makes me sweat more and pee more. I already drank about 80 to 100 oz of water a day before starting it, so I just upped the H2O to about a gallon a day. We'll see how it goes!

    Yeah Iv noticed I sweat excessively after I started taking a PRE-workout whye_soyamilk shake.

    What sort of rippetoes routine are you following ? Post me a link to your journal or something

    I don't have a journal at this time. I'm following kethnaab's write-up of the SS routine. To my knowledge, there is only 1 real Rippetoe routine, and everything else is just a bastardization.

    Thats the general consensus. From what iv understood you stand ot benefit from glutamine from MEGA dosing... which will lead to proper recovery. So most people just feel the $$ is better spent on other staple supps
