Any reason to NOT pre-mix protein?

Wondering if there is any reason I shouldn't premix like a gallon of protein and keep it in my fridge....to use throughout a couple days?

protein begins to denature as soon as you mix it, there is a question as to how long it can last. really, i wouldnt mix for more than 24 hrs in advance, though, without any type of preservative.

Most Powders Are Stable Up To About 8 Hours After Mixing. I Am Not Sure If Refrigeration Helps.

actually, to correct my prior post have a few other debates, protein, refrigerated, takes about a week to denature, but you should still try and mix right before use

its one of those cases where no one really knows...

but powdered protein is most stable as powder so keep it that way to hold it longer.... yuo could always mix up the shake (fruits, PB, milk, flax, or whatever) and then add in the protein...

but storing it will prob make it to clump and cause more of a headache than just mixing it

get a hand blender, they have electric and battery operated ones... its fast and convienent
