Men can get breast cancer, too -- no joke. I might be harmless, but you should get it checked out right away. Here's some info: http://www.cancer.org/docroot/CRI/co..._cancer_28.asp

check out the pic if my profile, my back pic. noticable lump. i got it checked out(had it for awhile) since it appears bigger now that im putting on muscle. doctor says it could be a cyst or build up of fatty tissue. but nothing really to worry about but I SHOULD get it checked every so often

It is most likely not a tumor or breast cancer as it it located below where normal breast tissue resides. Unless you have had a surgery in that area, it is also very unlikely to be a hernia. It is most likely a sebacious cyst, basically a clogging of a sweat gland with buildup of sebum, or a lipoma, a benign fatty tissue growth. Both are harmless, but may be removed for cosmetic reasons. Has it slowly gotten larger, or was it just suddenly there one day? Also, try to move it around with your hand. Is it fixed to the underlying tissue, or is it freely mobile. Fixation to the underlying tissue with a faster growth rate would be more suspicious for a malignancy. If it actually is muscle, and is growing rapidly, a sarcoma, a muscle tumor, must be ruled out. Bottom line, just like the other guys said, have your doctor look at it. It will provide you with some peace of mind as well as a diagnosis.

Cyst like thing
I also have a similar bump on my arm and have gone to 2 physical therapist, a ortho, and a GP and none have been able to figure out what it was although they came to the conclusion of a hemotoma or a cyst. however there was something on the news today that i just caught the end of that said such cysts in the pecs were related to a suppliment (sorry i couldn't get the name), which is somewhat scary
