    intense cardio after workout

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^is this a good idea or will you loss some muscle is the process.....usually i workout for about an hour, drink a protein shake then rest for 30 mins and run for about 45 mins
    whats ur opinion on this?
    Current Goal:
    Bring BF% down
    Bring weight to 180lbs

    Current: 2006/10/28
    BF%-23-using bodyfat scale
    weight-165lbs

    I would do cardio first thing in the morning. Never right after a hard workout. Protein shake or not.

    because my schedule is very tight, so i dont find much time...and by what u guys have said....can i say that its true i will lose muscle mass if i do cardio after a workout?

    in the long run, w/ the tight schedule, its better to do it after u lift than not at all

    i used to do cardio after lifting. it's tough on the CNS and easily leads to burnout. use sparingly

    i do cardio after lifting all the time now. A short 15 minute hiit session, it's fairly intense but at 15 mins i doubt its going to cause any recovery or muscle loss problems, which are very overrated imo
