Oh come on, blame it on the jet-lag! Haha, you know he wasn't enjoying answering questions about his first loss in 8 years, all short answers and answering before the guy even finished the questions and junk... I couldn't believe how bloated his obliques looked this year... I mean Jay was quite a bit better, but still not better than Ron was in 03' at 296.

Maybe try Ritalin, or Adderall... You'll see things a bit more clearly after about 2-4 weeks.

Good point man. I haven't seen many interviews with him until recently. I don't wanna call him dumb, but the man's not the best speaker in the world, but he's got some brains in that lil' noggin.
I don't wanna see him retire without that 9th or 10th!

Fukk you.
It doesnt matter who was off, or injured, if two teams play, and team A win because team B were not good enough, then they still lost.
Fair and Square.
You may wanna re-read this a few times until it sinks in ur brain clown.

He didn't seem down or anything, just rather laid back and soft-spoken.

Couldn't it be possible that he was down, emotionally, about something else?
Like perhaps he had an argument with a friend or a woman? Or was just having "one of those days"?

that is a oversimplification, in every sport there is detalied analysis that goes into victories. many times better teams play down to the competition, simply because they believe they cant be beat. sometimes the better team just gives it away with self inflicted errors.
analysing a sporting event and laying out detailed analysis that led up to the victory, is completely legitimate. it isnt making excuses it is simply looking deeper into the situation and not resorting to simplistic childish thinking, like he won simply because he is better.

No, your wrong, Ronnie has had plenty of serious competition, but it was only 2003-2005 that he truly dominated and no one came close.....
He should have lost in 2001, he didnt deserve it over Levrone in 2002.....that isnt domination, the fact that people agree with that view shows he has indeed had serious competition.
He may come back next year and dominate the show as he has in previous years, or he may injure himself further during the off season....time will tell.

^I agree, Ronnie was far from being unchallenged during his Mr. O winning streak. He also had some tough competition during the first 2 years from Flex, he won his first Mr. O with only a 3 point margin.

1. Why was he a cop when he had this amazing accounting degree everyone keeps mentioning.
2. No dumb cops in the world eh?
P.S. Ronnie has never appeared to me to be a dummy. People who label him as such have a limited understanding of different cultural influences or mannerisms. Remember that to have an ability with numbers (accounting) does not infer that your mastery of public speaking will be equal to Tony Robbins. Give the guy a break. The man was an 8 time Olympia champion.
That's 8 times numero uno whether you like his physique or not and I would say this deserves at least a bit of respect from any bodybuilding fan. And that goes the same for Jays win this year.

If Ronnie does not make the same mistake he made this year with missing his peak, then it will be game over for Jay (and everyone else)...just like it has been for the past 8 years till this year. When Ronnie is on, nobody can touch him...simple as that. Look for him to take the Sandow back from Jay and chalk up his 9th Mr O win...where he will cement his name as the best in Mr O history.

many cops have different degrees, not just criminal justice. some people choose public service because that is what they want to do, not because of some inherent deficencies within them .
he may have tried accounting and realised it is a repetitive boring line of work who knows.

I disagree. I think he had overall thickness and density/hardness that flex didn't have, and levrone, unfortunately, had the injury which prevented him from sporting his full-on wheels.
now, take early-mid 90s levrone legs and slap 'em on 2002 levrone, and you have yourself the best champion in history.

I just said he wasn't dumb! People always think he is, because he's not an amazing public speaker, so I was giving him credit.

Thank you, for not rationalizing his clearly "down" state for reasons other than the obvious! I don't think he's really depressed about it, but I'm sure it doesn't make him happy to have to answer all these questions about losing for the first time in 8 years.
