Well During rippetoes I really hurt my back. I stopeed for about 2 weeks and then went back after thinking it was ok again but after a set of squats it started hurting again. I went to my doctor and he prescribed robax platinum. I finish the box in about a week and a half and my back is still just as bad. I think maybe its me thinking about it all the time but I kno its hurt pretty bad and im not going to even bother to try a squat or deadlift for a while. Does anyone have an idea as to how serious my injurie is and what I should do. Thanks

If its only heavy weights that are hurting your back then imo you dont have much to worry about.
Just stop lifting for a while as you did before but when you decide to lift again try starting on lower weights and gradually go up.
Also have a good think about your form, lifting an extra 5 pounds at the expense of your back isnt clever (not saying you are btw)Stats & Pics need updating

If it still hurts, take a break from heavy squats. Go see a chiropractor to make sure your back isnt messed up. You probably just strained a muscle or a tendon.
Switch to leg press & lunges for a few weeks to give it time to heal.
Use icy hot on the area a few times per day. Alternating hot & cold compresses would be good. Leave each on for about 30 seconds, then switch. Do that for 10-15 min or so.
Hot & Cold showers on your back are great, if youre man enough to do them.
Alternate btwn hot & cold every 30 seconds, or untill your balls start to freeze off. Do this for around 10 minutes.

Ice it, rub it, then go back at it after a few reps with just the bar and if you feel it a bit stop and keep on resting. If you dont feel any pain do a few reps more with the bar and then go slowly with weight untill u start feeling it to your normal weight that you use and bam you'll be fine. Even if you feel it a tiny bit and not enough to bother you still dont do it.

That happened to me back before the football season started. I was attempting 495x2 and banged out the first one with some work, dropped for the second one, and felt something pop in my back.. I ignored it and finished the rep, backed outta the rack, and pretty much collapsed.
Turns out that I strained a muscle in my back because my lower back wasn't strong enough to stay locked with that kind of weight on it. I stayed off of squats, or heavy lowerback for about a month, and the muscle healed. I still feel some light pain when I squat really heavy or hit hard in practice.
I would say, just stay off of all heavy strain on your back for a good 2 weeks. Then slowly ease back into squatting, with light weights as you get a feel for the muscle. Then take it from there, you could also consider seeing a trainer.
