    Question Post your during workout Drink/Supps

    what supps do you have in your during workout drink

    i know of people who have xtend and some who just have plain water but was wondering what other additions to xtend make a solid workout drink (provided NO is take pre and creatine post)?

    why do you take creatine if you are in the cutting phase? you can drop abotu 5-8 lbs of water if you get off it. i take gatorade/whey during. thats all i can get out here. haha. but, its carbs/protien

    Water only. IMO, if you have taken care of pre-workout nutrition and follow up with proper post nutrition, there's no need for anything else. And while I might be in the minority, I think "sipping" on overpriced BCAA during your workout is like burning REALLY expensive fuel in your lawn mower.

    6-8 scoops xtend
    1 scoop primal eaa or 1 scoop substance WPI

    Thats how I feel. If your eating every three hours (and you should be) you should be in a positive nitrogen balance. If you still want to take BCAA's (I only do when in a caloric restriction) you can drink them immediately before training.

    30 minutes before: Protein shake, Animal Pump

    During: 5-6 scoops of xtend in 1/2 gallon of water and 3 scoops of glycergrow

    Immediatly after: 2 tablespoons of honey, and protein shake w/ oats and PB about 20 minutes after that

    Hour after workout: Usually tuna or chicken w/ sweet potato and a yogurt
