How many of you have caffeine daily? I've become slothful with work, and think maybe I should join up with "90% of americans." Or at least, I should do it on "crunch" days.

I cycle it, usually like 2 months on, 1 month off...
I'm currently contest prep, so I'm takin in about 500-600mg per day
just make sure to cycle it so you can become re-sensitized! don't become a slave to it like 90% of americans...
you could also go the route of just using it on days u need a pick me up and use it basically year round...that'd be a slippery slope not to get dependent on it though because you will definitely notice a performance boost...

ok guys, thanks alot for all the input.
So, of my options, which do you guys recommend?
-Take one pill in the AM and nothing else (take periodic breaks)
-Take one pill in the AM and one pre-workout/afternoon (take periodic breaks)
-Just take it pre-workout?
-Only take it on days I need a boost and hope addiction doesn't grab me by the horns.
For various reasons, I'd lean toward the first or last option.

Life without Caffeine???
I can't imagine life without caffeine. Over the past 20 years it has helped me get through my workouts, get through high school, get through college (especially when cramming for an exam!), improved my alertness at work and also when driving. IMO the world would be a better place if we all drank coffee. (-;
I'd reccommend trying instant coffee for a few reasone. For one, you can control exactly how much you are getting, so you can adjust the dosage to how much caffeine you want that day. It is also much faster and cheaper than brewed coffee. Brewed coffee and caffeine pills don't really phase me. sure it tastes like mud, but it works!!
Fact: 2 out of 7 car accidents in the U.S. are a result of drowsiness or falling asleep at the wheel.
Being a nutritionist, I need to look at both sides of the equation when it comes to coffee/caffeine, but I must say overall its benefits outweigh its risks in a pretty big way. (Unless if you have an ulcer)Size Matters.

I used to slam caffeinated products, but now i've backed off some.
I work out in the morning and my pre-workout is N.O.Xplode; some people even say that it's good for nothing but the caffeine. When I've got the time, I drink a cup of coffee after my workout/shower.
Too much caffeine may make you crash after a long day of use. Space it out if you start using it.

I loves me my coffee, and I dont think there is any negative effect a healthy individual can blame on coffee..its also high in antioxidants, but everything is these days...The Dark Knight...Rises.
