In fact, today at tender age of 38, Ade Rai is a far better bodybuilder than he was when he won the 2000 Musclemania & Superbody Pro back to back. (PS. I have been his close friend for more than 6 years, knowing every corner of his house, never stayed out of contact for more than 3 days with him, travelling all over Indonesia promoting healthy lifestyle through fitness. He IS a lifetime drug-free bodybuilder. All bodybuilding events that he has entered and won have drug-test and he passed them all with flying colors. He is so natural that he prefers to get his L-carnitine from star fruit than a carnitine capsule.

Anyone knows if any of the Ade Rai fitness centers are still around? Is there any Gold's Gym in Jakarta cuz I plan to visit in the near future and I would love to use my Gold's GYm membership from US as a visitor there. To the OP, I would say if he's telling the truth, you're not far off. I also am pretty sure Skip LaCour always maintained he was natural, too. And, imo he had a more impressive physique than Ade.

yes sir, we did bring in gold's franchise to indonesia last year. now there were gold's in menteng, bandung, citraland, rasuna, serpong, and soon to be opened in pantai indah kapuk and kelapa gading.

I don't see what the problem is in believing he's natural. If you dedicate your life to training, nutrition and finding out what works for you best who knows what we can do. People start off 6 months training and start a course of steroids straight away before they even learn how to train properly. So these individuals (large majority of dumb arrogant idiots) relate growing to steroid use because that's all they know. "So if I'm on steroids and don't look that good, he must be on steroids to look better than me".

As common as these drugs are, not everybody wants to jab themselves and use drugs.

The only wierd thing is that Indonesians simply don't come that big often, usually, there smaller, shorter people with not much muscle mass. And when he was making a go of it in the sport, resources, supplements, etc would be limited in indonesia as well. A majority don't come that tall either (6 foot apparently).

Usually, if someone pushes that hard to establish there natural. There one of two things - extremely insecure or extremely clean. There is no ****ing point, to tell the world your natural...do you know why...because there's no ****ing reward for it. Everyone loves a beast!

So before you small abiding citizens get on the hate wagon..take a long hard look at yourself in the mirror and make sure its not your own short comings and failures your addressing...

And really, sit Ade Rai next too any of the top ten olympians. As impressive as he is. I promise you he won't seem as big...and at the end of the day, that's the difference - the size game
