Ade Rai is doing well building Indonesian fitness & bodybuilding industry much like Joe Weider did some 40 years ago in the U.S. It is important to note that just because he doesn't live or compete in USA qualifies anyone to say he's not around anymore. In fact, today at tender age of 38, Ade Rai is a far better bodybuilder than he was when he won the 2000 Musclemania & Superbody Pro back to back. (PS. To date, he is the only drug-free pro bodybuilder to ever achieve such feat.)

Musclemania isnt completly natural, so i sure 100% ade rai is not natural . period..........

Just because Sydney is not completely beautiful doesn't it 100% ugly. I think you are smart enough to know that. I have been his close friend for more than 6 years, knowing every corner of his house, never stayed out of contact for more than 3 days with him, travelling all over Indonesia promoting healthy lifestyle through fitness. He IS a lifetime drug-free bodybuilder. All bodybuilding events that he has entered and won have drug-test and he passed them all with flying colors. He is so natural that he prefers to get his L-carnitine from star fruit than a carnitine capsule.

2. dbol26: halim is 100% human, he's not troll & not even close to being "stupid", since he is an established nutritionist that happen to published 2-3 books about fitness and nutrition here in our country.

3. dbol26: totally agree with you! jakarta is definitely a dirty place! if there's indonesian citizen tell that jakarta is clean with fresh air, he/she must be blind!

4. if there any person that's obsessed with ade, it won't be halim ....... i think we already pass that phase hahaha ........... i believe that for certain period as youth we've been through some period that we are closed to obsessed with some major bodybuilder star ............... & also believe that period contribute something to our persistence up until our current personal achievement in this fitness industry.

The last time I came to visit my parents in Jakarta back in 2002, I spent the whole month at one of Ade Rai fitness centers located in Sabang (I think). Anyone knows if any of the Ade Rai fitness centers are still around? Is there any Gold's Gym in Jakarta cuz I plan to visit in the near future and I would love to use my Gold's GYm membership from US as a visitor there. Looking at this thread, there seems to be a lot of ppl from Indonesia here.

I have some questions for all the indonesians here. Ada bodybuilder lain selain Ade Rai ga yg tampil di ajang bodybuilding international? Fitness center apa yg orang dari BB.com dari Jakarta yg banyak jadi anggota?

ps: orang bule ga pernah punya komen yg bener kecuali kalo kasih komen tentang orang mereka sendiri. I say just ignore these blundering insignificant ppl

To the OP, I would say if he's telling the truth, you're not far off. I also am pretty sure Skip LaCour always maintained he was natural, too. And, imo he had a more impressive physique than Ade.

yes sir, we did bring in gold's franchise to indonesia last year. now there were gold's in menteng, bandung, citraland, rasuna, serpong, and soon to be opened in pantai indah kapuk and kelapa gading.
