Transformation Project - The Before!
Here I am...getting ready to start into a new 12 week transformation challenge to see how far I can push myself!
I've been involved in weight training/fitness for about a year now but this is the 1st time I've posted a before picture anywhere....I will post new ones through out the 12 weeks!! This is the only pic I have right now on my pc, but I will try to get more so it's easier to see how I am progressing.
Let me know what you think and if you have any advice on how I can improve, it would be awesome. brennylee@hotmail.com

My goals right now are to lower my bodyfat and I am going to give it my all to do it. (Current BF 20.5% 36c-27-36)
I've been trainning for a year so I do have muscle. But I am trying to figure out how to train my legs correctly...I'm a endomorph, pretty curvy naturally and genetically have stronger/bigger legs so I need to decide if I should try to reshape them or work with what I have? I'm 5'3, 130lbs and I squat 190lbs (8 reps) I know I could go higher but do I really wanna gain any more mass...Any suggestions??
Future Goal ->
I am training towards competing next year in my 1st fitness competition. I've been told from some professional bb's that I have the potential and the look to actually do well. I just have to get dedicated to leaning out and lower my bodyfat to do so. I've hired a trainer to help me reach my goals so dedication is the key!

I look forward to seeing your progress

Brennylee69,
Good luck with the transformation! ;-) Looks like you already have a good base. When you take pictures can you take some standing up? From what I can see you have nothing to lose. lol
Well, keep posting and keep us informed with your diet and training.

I am glad you enjoyed the article. In confession, the before pics are the worst shape I have ever been in. But I guess I do deserve a pat on the back none-the-less. :-) I like to hear it but I really like knowing that my story can help others achieve it!
I would tend to think you are more endo-meso morphic from the picture you submitted. Ok, you and I are alike. Anyway most people are a combination such as endo-meso or ecto-meso. I'm rambling.
Excellent idea hiring a trainer. Although they are expensive, a good trainer can make the world of a difference.
What are your exact goals? When do you plan to achieve them?
Have you told anyone else about your challenge? Sounds weird but voicing to others is a form of self-affirmation.
What type of diet are you on?
Brennylee69, I would be more than happy to help you with anything I can. That goes with pretty much anyone in here. I am no expert but they are in here and hang around long enough to provide insight.
;-)

By the way I am going to be doing my next show sometime in June and if you want a shocker just wait until you see my new pictures...
I need to go up a weight class so I am doing what every smart person says not to do. Since my last show I have gained 55 pounds. Looks like I will have a chance to do another before/after comp....
55 pounds gained in 3 months. Now that's an endo morph! LOL.
I will post on my thread shortly.

I'm definitely an endomorph...have the curves to prove that one...but I also have meso traits as well.
*** My Meal Plan *** Any one have any suggestions?? I am trying to lose body fat, and try to lose "weight" but it seems no matter what, my scale will not move a cm What am I doing wrong here??
Meal 1 - Special K or Oatmeal with 3 egg whites, 1 Yolk
Meal 2 - Myoplex Lite Shake or Nitrotech shake
Meal 3 - 1 Tin Tuna, 1 Salad
Meal 4 - Nitrotech shake/ Low carb bar
Meal 5 - 2 pieces of Salmon/Chicken with Salad
Meal 6 - Myoplex Lite Shake or Nitrotech shake
Supplements - Betalean HP, CLA
** Anyone have any advice on women using creatine/and or zma? ** Note: I really do not want to Bulk at all....hence, will womens creatine formula cause H20 retention?? And how does Zma affect a womans body?
*** My program ***
Monday - Chest/Tris/Abs - Yoga/20mins cardio
Tuesday - Back/Bis/Calves20mins cardio
Wednesday - Quads/Abs
Thursday - Shoulders/Calves/Abs20mins cardio
Friday - Hams/Calves/Abs
Saturday - Yoga
*** Current Stats ***
30Lb dBells for Military & Chest Press
30Lb barbell (15lbs dbell) for Bis (I usually do 21's or negatives)
75Lb for Lat Pull Down
200 Lbs for Squats
210 Lbs for Horizontal Leg Press
Should I add in Barbell presses occassionaly instead of dumbbell presses? Will this help increase my strenght?
** Thanks for any comments or suggestions that you offer Thanks again J **

IMO, you should replace the overpriced nitrotech with some cheaper whey protein, optimum nutrition 100% whey is good. and dumbell presses are better than barbell IMO, but just do what u feel better with.
for someone your size to squat 200, thats awesome

if the weight isnt coming off like planned you gotta make a calorie cut to your daily diet and try it for a couple weeks, id say a couple hundred calories, go down slow. And yes get rid of the nitro tech lol, nothing is crappier then nitro tech, except stacking it with cell tech !

Make a calorie cut already?? I am barely reaching 1500 as is...I dunno if that's such a good idea...I think I am probably not eating enough? I will keep it in mind for sure though however, I am dropping inches, but not dropping weight...

Brenny, two things...
I agree with you that you should not drop calories... More importantly you need to look at the foods you are taking in and time schedule than just the number. Also, remember that if you drop calories too rapidly your body (Think cavewoman) goes into starvation mode.
Secondly, weight is only a number... How you look, feel, and your composition are good measures to follow. If you weighed 230 pounds in the above picture we would still think you are hot!!!

I've actually had that....the chocolate...hmmm, very good. when this batch of nitrotech is gone I will switch it definitley.
I never see the girls at my gym using anything more than 2-25lbs plates on the bar...so I really didn'y have much to go by in terms of where I should be...so I take your comment with some motivation Thanks Freakzilla
