    Whole eggs

I see alot of people advocating eating whole eggs instead of just whites. How many whole eggs should one have for breakfast to get the protein they need?

As many as you need Depends on your macro requirments. 4 eggs, 2 piece of whole wheat toast, and a nice talk glass of milk is a solid breakfast

Without looking it up I think 4 eggs yield ~30g protein (from memory 7g each 'officially' but it depends on the size of the egg obviously)

So yeah 3,4,5+ depending on how big you are and if a number of eggs give you digestive issues.

Like everyone said it depends on your cals/macros..

But personally the most I can stomach at one time is 3 scrambled eggs.

*must find a way to eat hard boiled eggs*

heh, i love slightly undercooked hardboiled eggs. try em that way. when they're overdun (borderline green yolk) they're DRY and not very tasty. A tiny bit of liquid yolk in the center is what i look for in a perfect batch. Leaves enough moisture and taste for me. I can eat half a carton of those at once

So what does 6 whole eggs compare to 6 egg white protein/fats/carb wise. Also what does one cup of egg whites equal?

Whole eggs have the protein and healthy fats from the egg, the egg whites contain simply the protein of the egg w/o the fats... And for the cup of egg whites look at the serving label

I down 5 whole eggs followed by a cup of green tea every morning during my 5 day work week. Try to down a good omelette Saturday morning with some meat and cheese added. Throw in 2 raw eggs/whey protein/5oz half and half cream after workout.

I use 2-3 full raw eggs and whey powder for breakfast. I used to cook them but I prefer the taste of them raw in the shake now now. The thought of cooked eggs actually makes me feel nauseous now after eating them every day for 3 months straight.

I usually mix whole eggs with egg whites. For my macro I mix 2 whole eggs with about 4 egg whites. That way I get the protein without exceeding my fat requirement. That said my body type is endo/meso so my metabalism isn't fast.
