For guys that have done this what steps do you take right before the love making? I have heard of simply throwing on a condom; all the way to preparing a day in ahead, adjusting diet, taking an enema etc.
I was looking into douching but that seems to be unhealthy because it removes good bacteria from the colon and is actually a risky thing to do.
I have been considering an adjustable water-pressured shower head, and have looked into laxatives/enemas but the consensus there seems to be only using these infrequently and not to depend on them.
Just trying to get a routine together that allows for the most clean, safest and enjoyable sex there is.

Excellent question! I appluad you for having the courage to ask that here. A few times on Queer As Folk they talked about showering douching(like you mentioned), plus they said on the birght side it can also be part of the foreplay. So I guess its a win-win haha.
