Should I get PS3 or Xbox 360?

PS3.. 2x more powerful than an xbox 360.. me personally am not going to by either of them, unless the prices drop to a reasonable range even then its still questionable

Anyways, the Nintendo Wii is the only console with Zelda(Best game ever)

Let me give you an example of what the Wii is like compared to PS3 or Xbox 360 using older video games as an example.

Wii=Karate Champ.....Sure its fun to play but graphics are a little behind
PS3 or Xbox 360....Mortal Kombat Very fun, great graphics.

i have a 360, i love everything about it, not one problem with it.

EDIT: i just wish they would get that DVI or HDMI (with the HDCP) output soon, that will make it that much more better

Hate to break it to you but "raw processing power" does not equal better performance. There are many factors, some which favour the PS3, others that favour the Xbox360. Like the other guy said, they will both have there strong suites.

Another reason for buying the Wii is that they're going to let you download old classic games like GoldenEye and play them, I don't know if it's for free or not, but still.

IMO i have always been an xbox fan - the new high def 360 looks AMAZING... graw, gow and saints row make this the better of the two systems...

I have a 360, and right now, I'm pretty underwhelmed w/ the current game selection. Dead Rising is ok. Saints row is above average. Thats about it as of now.

I'm expecting good things from Gears of War, but PS3 has Resistance Fall of Man, which should be ~ as good.

I think they're about equal, but i'm not really impressed w/ either ATM.

OR you can save your money, wait till DirectX 10 comes out and is fully supported, build a new gaming comp with sli/crossfire and dual/quad core processor. Crysis will probably blow every console game away. I'm also looking forward to Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl

I have an Xbox 360. I'm thinking about selling it and getting a PS3. Main thing with 360 is that some (if not most) games are for the computer, which I have (good computer also).

If your getting 360 just for Oblivion (awesome game), the PS3 is coming out with it also.

I also want Assassin's Creed for the PS3. Its gana kick arse.

You mean all you need before your 500 dollars goes down the drain in another two years. PS3 looks likes its gonna be off the chain, its going to be able to download PS1 games and transfer them to your psp as well and it has linux yellowdog for things like running firefox or microsoft word, that with the 60gb hardrive all you need to do is add a keybord and mouse and you have a computer. Not to mention the awesome graphics it has mixed in with the awesome games. However its gonna be $500/$600 and i already have a computer so no thank you. And i dont know that much about xbox 360 but ive played some games on it and there pretty damn tight too. But i dont really see myself getting either one, i mean 200 every 2 years for the newest video game system was already expensive enough but now their 300-600. **** if i do get one of these I will deffinetly not be getting the first system to follow it.






O and WII, well lets just say **** that. The only reason i have heard for people who are getting it is that it has zelda and its cheaper, and thats about it, so have fun playing zelda for 2 years. PS3 & XBOX 360>WII

I, myself, would get a PS3 when the good titles come out. I am not interested too much in FPS's and Sports; more like RPG's, games like MGS, and some others. The japanese make the games I am most attracted to. I can also get a blu-ray player instead of buying any extra hardware... something to supplement my tv.

If you preferred xbox over ps2, get the 360 no question. Cheaper and available now.

PS3 2x more powerful? Lol. In the future, it might get pushed to it's limits, but nowhere near 2x.
