    When To Eat...

This is something I've had A LOT of trouble with lately ! I find it really hard to squeeze in a balanced meal more than 2 times during the day. I try to snack in between to keep my metabolism going but I end up having one of my biggest meals after 8 after a workout.

Is that a bad thing? I know that your metabolism is the slowest at the end of the day and a lot of it gets stored to fat : \

yep yep I hear ya! i get up extra early in the morning to prepare all my meals but some meals, I can't help but replace with a protein bar. I'm not skipping meals at all, in fact food is constantly on my mind..sometimes even too much lol. I just get worried about the late meals : \

I eat just before bed too, can't sleep on empty stomach. I end up eating more at nite sometimes to make sure I get all my cals in for the day or my bulk won't work
I'm growing bigger muscles everyday...and I love it!

Look, if you're hungry, you need to eat. The trick for most of us is telling the difference betwee true hunger and a host of other reasons to eat (boredom, being in the movie theatre, getting thirst confused with hunger, depression, etc.). Food is fuel for the body, and your body will tell you when it needs it.

if you have just had a workout at night then NO your metabolism is NOT at its slowest, it's actually fast!! There is NOTHING wrong with eating (preferrably protein+fat) pre-bed. 90% of people on bb.com DO eat a meal of protein+fat before bed.

You don't need to be running!!!! You are underweight and need to focus on eating and lifting. Running on less than 1000 calories a day is putting your body under stress.

Please don't give out advice for her not to eat carbs. She is very underweight and she needs carbs and does NOT need to be doing tons of cardio.

Thanks for the advice : )
I really find it hard to find the perfect meal to have for dinner though. I eat more than 1000 calories a day nowadays so I'm good. Now all I need is to balance out my meals the right way basically so I'm getting in all my nutrients
