    Question Wheat germ

I was just thinking about this since I passed by wheat germ at the store today. Has anyone used this as an addition to protein shakes as some use blended oats? It seems like it could be a nice thing to throw in there, and would add a slew of nutrients and such.

    Your thoughts?

I've read that it's good for adding some fats as well. It just seems like a good option to add to a bulking shake.

Your shake idea would be fine, but you may notice the consistency change depending on how much you add and what exactly is already in the shake. I personally add about 3/4 teaspoon of both wheat germ and also 3/4 teaspoon of oat bran to my oatmeal before I nuke it and I can hardly notice it when I eat the oatmeal. Very easy way to increase the fiber.
