I've put on literally 45 pounds on bench in the past week. I'm up to 260 1RM now. The only downside to this is I don't think I'm putting on too much muscle mass...i've gained 15 pounds but most of it is prolly fat/creatine water.

If your maxing out 3 days a week on the same excercise, youre gonna stall fast.

New Shanghai Log!
"225, 315, 405 whatever. Yeah these benchmark digits come to mean a lot to us, the few warriors in this arena. They are, however, just numbers. I'm guilty of that sh*t too, waiting for somebody to powder my nuts cuz I did 20 reps of whatever the **** on the bench. Big f*king deal. It is all relative." G Diesel

A better pyramid would stop at 3 reps. Working to a max lift is pretty stresful on your body. Look into 3x3 programs on deepsquatter.com.

ha ha ha, horse testosterone....
BEhave, it sounds like you really know what you're talking about...
However, you might not want to max three times a week. Bad for the joints, stressful for the muscles to the point where you could plateau very quickly.

AbramsOh-oh say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
what so proudly we hailed, at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight, or the ramparts we watched,
were so gallantly streaming.
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
gave proof through the night, that our flag was still there.
Oh-oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave,
O'er the land of the free, and the home of the brave?
