When you see a program that looks like squat: 3x5 deadlift 1x5 bench 5x5 what do those numbers mean?
3x5 means 3 sets of 5 reps. In other words, do 5 reps and that is one set. Rest, do another five reps and that's your second set, etc. 5x5 - 5 sets of 5 (reps) 1x5 - 1 set of 5
