From a glass/mirror shop. They usually carry large plate glass and mirrors. They can install them for you as well.

This is a pic of it. I use dry erase markers on mine to keep previous week's workout log.

    New guy here.

What's the purpose of all the mirrors? Izzit to admire yourself, or check for correct form or what?

If it's just for form and you can put up with some distortion, what about putting up reflective mylar instead of real mirrors?

    Glassless Mirrors

The new glassless mirrors have better reflective quality than household mirrors. G2 Fitness Products has a wide selection and pricing includes shipping. Check these out: http://www.g2fitnessproducts.com/ind...S&Category=736

Plus, they are easy to install...just like hanging a picture.

Who the hell would spend thousands on a "glassless mirror" just for better reflective purposes?

And this thread is almost 2 years old.

LOL, most of us haven't even spent that much on our complete home gyms. You need to target commercial gyms with those prices. IMO, the most economical way to do this is buying used mirrored sliding closet doors. A few weeks back I found 3 on Craigs List that measured 37" x 72" and set in nice black frames. Got them for $40.00. Just removed the rollers and hung them up.

But good luck with your sales

CL was a winner for me for free mirrors. I was given 4 free mirrors: 2 4x6' and 2 6x8'. Couldn't transport the 6x8', so just took the smaller ones. They are by no means small. They're freaking HUGE. 2 other mirrors measuring 3x8 and 3x6 I found them in an alley as I was driving by.

Has anyone been to Home Depot lately to see if they still carry mirrors like the thread implies? Last time I was there they didn't have anything that size.

Jut went to a different Home Depot and they had a ton of sizes. 36x48 ran about $35 I think. Not bad at all, I may pick two up.

Every mirror in my gym was free from CL. They were all vanity mirrors. The largest is 63x42. You gotta be quick, these are usually gone in a few hours. I coulda had a 93x48 mirror last week, but it was too big to fit in my truck bed(toyota) and I was afraid it would get broken.

I bought about 6 of the walmart ones. They are about 4 feet long and 1 1/5 feet wide.

They cost less then $10 each. I just nailed them up next to each other. Works fine for my purposes.

I know www.glasslessmirror.com sells glassless shatterproof lightweight mirrors that have been used in gyms. Here is a image of them being used directly behind Olympic lifting platforms!

You can also buy mirror tiles, which might be a bit cheaper, if you don't mind not having one large seamless mirror.

    Glassless Mirrors

The glassless mirrors are for safety purposes and liability reasons for commercial settings. They definitely aren't for the cheap at heart, but that's no reason to hate on 'em. If they didn't sell like hot cakes, they wouldn't be produced.
