Whee!!!
Time: 18:00 - 19:50. Yeah, I took my time tonight. Wasted 15 minutes because some moron kept calling me without answering from Manhattan, KS. But it was between two exercises.
Bodyweight: 175lbs
Sumo Squats
95 x 5
115 x 5
135 x 5
160 x 5
160 x 5
These felt better. I'm keeping the sumo stance from now on. Damn, these slammed my glutes. What a weird feeling. My glutes were pumped tight after my sumos.
Straight-leg Deadlifts
135 x 5
135 x 5
160 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 5
Damn, these got easy!
Good mornings
45 x 10
95 x 5
115 x 5
135 x 5
135 x 3
I'm liking these. I had stop after my 3rd rep on that last set because my traps were aching. Even with the chalk on my back, the bar wanted to crawl up my neck.
Barbell Calf Raises
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 5
235 x 5
235 x 9
Whee! Calves got slammed hard!
Hanging Leg Raises
BW x 10
BW x 10
BW+15 x 10
BW+25 x 10
BW+25 x 5
LOL, my traps were freaking huge tonight. It's taking me little effort to build those guys.... No direct work.
Time to eat!

Thanks, LC. I hope you heal up soon. I hate injuries too. (I didn't like it when I strained my right lat muscle a month or two ago).
---
Hum... I felt tired today during this workout... I think those deadlifts yesterday took more out of me than I thought... Oh well, it's only hindsight.
Time: 13:50 - 14:55
Bodyweight: 174lbs
Close Grip Bench Press
95 x 10
95 x 10
105 x 8
105 x 7
105 x 7
Incline Press
75 x 10
75 x 10
75 x 10
75 x 10
85 x 7
Well, these felt lighter though. I was cranking these out faster today.
DB Shoulder Press
20 x 10
25 x 10
30 x 10
35 x 5
25 x 9
My stamina started to drop during my 4th set of these.
Barbell skullcrushers
40 x 10
50 x 5
50 x 6
50 x 5
I was definitely tired at this point. Workout started to feel drawn out at this point.
DB Lateral Raises
15 x 15
I just wanted to end this workout quickly. So, I did my raises in one set as long as possible. I was very exhausted. I think the suckiness of my diet yesterday contributed to my lackluster performance today.

Good stuff mate! One thing seems weird to me but - that you can sldl 225lbs x 5 but you deadlift max (conventional) is only 255lbs.

Thanks.
Well, I last attempted a conventional deadlift max about a month ago. I am still working on my form on my deadlifts. I'm stronger at sumos than conventionals still.

Yeah, they tend to do that Whenever I pull max singles, my workouts for the next few sessions usually aren't at 100%. Wait a Couple of days and you'll feel good as new.

Forgive me for the delay in posting this workout, but this stomach bug I caught on Monday threw me for a loop...
This is last night's workout.
Date: 21-Nov-2006
Time: 17:35 - 18:55
Bodyweight: 175lbs
Straight-Leg Deadlifts
135 x 10
135 x 10
185 x 6
185 x 6
185 x 6
My grip started slipping on the last three sets...
Squats
95 x 10
115 x 8
115 x 9
135 x 6
135 x 6
Not fully recovered from this damn bug evidently...
Good Mornings
45 x 10
85 x 10
95 x 10
115 x 6
115 x 8
I can't do these in a power rack. I kept hitting the back of the rack on my way back up. But my hams were fried after these last two exercises!
Calf Raises - Smith Machine from the floor
135 x 10
185 x 10
185 x 10
225 x 10
245 x 5
EEk... very tough. I was glad I did these in that machine because my balance was suspect for some reason last night.
Hanging Leg Raises
BW x 10
BW x 10
BW +25 x 5
Dips
BW + 25 x 1
BW + 25 x 1
BW + 25 x 1
I was pleasantly surprised by these. It felt good doing more than single at more my bodyweight. This was 200lbs I was doing total here.
So, I wasn't 100% because of that flu bug I had... But I'm off today and tomorrow (Bulker's dream! )
