You know, in the past I've made some stupid posts/threads which while I don't feel repentant about - but I think I was able to look at them after the fact and realize what could have been said better.

That said, sometimes you just need to filter the posters who you think are beyond discussion or not worthwhile. I think if more people did that, many of these guys might disappear... but I think sometimes people like to participate in threads like that which cater to their own beliefs.

I like this forum alot. There are alot of smart people here and I've learned alot. We just need to respect each others differences more. That whats makes the forum so great. We have so many different people from all walks of life.

Obviously, I'm a bit more concerned on B than A, and I think I know the answer for both, but given permabans will be handed out - I just would like to ensure I know perfectly well what the deal is.

Doesn't matter if your jewish, muslim, black white ect. Just post with respect it's not that hard.

Well, if we ignored the idiotic trolls who seem to post here quite recently and didn't respond to them, they'd soon get bored and wander off elsewhere.

On a sidenote, I've just discovered that my daughter's Tamagotchi which has been neglected today because of our unusual busyness for a Hallow'een party we were having, has died.

I hope they don't close this forum either. I think from a business standpoint, it wouldn't be a good idea. The misc and R/P forums attract alot of people. It is like any store, the more people you have looking around the better your sales are going to be. You take that away and alot of these people will probably go away also.

didn't that sex section come with a warning before you entered? Just put one in this one. I dont think its that bad. religious/poltical debates will always border on offensive, depending on how far the p.c. police want to enforce it (not just here, but in the world in general...even on tv).

I say, just put a disclaimer, and let it roll. its not so bad here, like it was a year or so ago. i haven't done so yet but I was going to give the regulars ehre props for really cleaning up the place...i guess props go to the mods for this as well.

Thats a huge ask though, there's trolls/racists/haters on every forum, they're all over the internet, some people have learnt to over-look their stupidity and not take them seriously, others like to debate with these guys, proving them wrong etc. Banning the RP sub-forum won't keep the trolls/racists/haters away, because there's still the misc section, and OTHER sections across bb.com that'll attract these idiots.

This is obviously a joke... if this section is removed then the average IQ level of the posters on this site drops by 50 points. There is no rationale for eliminating this section, where there happens to be many great discussions, and leaving the miscellaneous section (aka the "what's the average dick size?" section).

I think this section would be FAR easier to mod than the "Brian Peppers" section... I try to read some of the **** they post in there and I swear it's like all of the dumbest, most ignorant, teenagers that this world has to offer were all rounded up and told to post there.

This section has a few bad apples, but pales in comparison to other parts of this site.

*The only difficult part of moderating this section, in my opinion, would be having to read and go through many lengthy threads and posts. At least most people in this section can put together a coherent string of words though...

wow it would be sad if this forum goes, you can't discuss R&P without having some xtreme views. I think everyone is old enough here not to get offended by someones posts.

misc section is nothing but people posting totally worthless threads and rep whoring, if you got rid of that 90% of the trolls and people who don't even BB would leave.
