Deadlifts are not for forearm strength so don't slack off of them because you want to work your forearms. If its forearm strength you want, work your forearms w/ wrist curls, grippers, etc. whatever floats your boat.

yea i didnt say yourn ot going to get any strength. i said i wanted even strength, even if i mix it up, it wont be even, so i start using non mixed grip.
and deadlift is a great forearm worker.. i dont know about size, but strength..
