On top of that it was a long time ago as far as MMA is concerned. Fedor is a much better fighter now. Sobral is crafty, but he'd be WAAAAY over matched and out muscled by Fedor. Semmy Schilt also took Fedor to a decision in his Pride debut, and Fedor would kill Semmy now in an MMA fight.

well i disagree there. i dont think hes overrated. he's the champ because hes the best in his class in the UFC. as of now, the ONLY person who has a chance is Tito. he rolled through randy, vitor, babalu, tito (already). The only one who i can see having a chance at his belt is if Silva (anderson) puts on some weight. until then, we can ONLY hope for a Wandy vs. Chuck in feb.

brandon vera, if im not mistaken, is undefeated and should be taking on the winner of monson v. sylvia. as of now, sylvia is not ranked for me. arlovski defended the title a few times which is why he ranks higher thank sylvia. if sylvia retains then he just might break top 10. a few more title defenses then we'll talk

Yes, if not top five. I don't see any reason why someone like Kharitonov, Werdum, or Aleks should be ranked above him at this point. IMO all three of the aforementioned fighters are more skilled than Sylvia, but that doesn't always mean they should be ranked above him, or that they'd necessarily win a fight against him. They haven't beaten any better of competition than Tim has if you actually take the "Pride vs. UFC" angle out of it and stand back and look at things objectively.
