Straight axle indeed!! 22" lift on 44" Ground Hawgs.
Travis Barker is the one who had it built...So money obviously wasn't a problem.

Thanks, bro!
Yeah, it's the same one from MTV Cribs. I got a pretty decent deal on it...it only had 5k miles on it with all that work done to it for $48k. Trucks almost 6 years old now and it just turned 12k miles.

My family goes offroading pretty frequently.
My son has been by my side on every trip since he was 3. My wife goes on occasion and my daughter went on her first trip when she was 11 months old.
We hit the trails in Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
Some pics of a couple places in texas.

Offroading is fun but you need money, If you actually do hardcore wheeling and not pussy mudding your truck aint gonna last. This is what happens:
You wheel, start modding it, pretty soon your trucks to the point where it sux as a daily driver and has so much money sunk into it but looks like crap from running into rocks and trees. I stopped, now I roll in a 2wd and destroy my dirtbike instead.

You have a point. I put about $4,000 into my CJ and wheeled the piss out of it but wasnt smart enough to armor it so it got pretty beat up. I put about $8000 into my 99 Jeep and wheeled the heck out of it but I armored it a little more and never got any real body damage. I then traded the 99 in on the one pictured (wanted better axles and was starting to have tranny problems with the 99) and I have armored the crap out of it. So far so good with this one. I laid the 99 over on its side 1 time but didnt do any "serious" damage but this one hasnt been on its side yet.

How does your Land cruiser hold up?, we had a couple at an old mine I use too work at, very impresive imo. I use to have an old International 3/4 ton with a 345, it topped out at about 50 mph uphill/downhill posi front and back, man it was a tank.

I have a CJ7 wtth 4" lift, 33" tires, winch, axle upgrades, etc. I use it as a daily driver, plus I'm in an ORV club and we go wheeling at least once a month.

The 'Cruiser's not bad, but as the co-driver, I prefer the Sammi's. Alot cheaper to buy and build. Who cares if your $500 1988 rust bucket truck has a couple dents?
They're also easy to work on-no technology to speak of!

Wheeling's one of my favorite things to do.
Currently own 2 fullsize blazers on 35's, and a stock Chevy shortbed soon to be on 35's.
Fullsize is the way to go. No cheerleader jeeps. lol
V8 power - check
Tough drivetrains - check
Affordable - check
Big - check
Tough as nails - check
easy to work on - check
Sure I'd love to have a YJ or TJ like some of you guys have, but for bang-for-your-buck, nothing comes close to a fullsize Chevy.

Wagoneers are cool.
My buddy has one on 35's.
They have V8's and leaf springs, so they're in the same category as a full size Blazer..Great value and a tough truck.

Can't wait to see the pics.
Along with my Chev's, I have an ultimate beater Sammy.
'87 Sammy, 1.3, 5 spd, dana 44's front and rear, 5.38 gears, detroit lockers, Spring over axle conversion and 37" Super Swamper TSLs. Yeah, 37's.
It's slow as all hell but this thing gets around, and I beat the living hell out of it, as you'll see by the pic.

i mostly do desert stuff. my bro has a silverado with camburg long travel and we usually run chase for them when they race their trucks. not a big fan of offroading or just doing donuts in mud. just not my bag. ever since i moved to the mtns i haven't been able to do much desert stuff (norcal is a lot different from socal) so ive been doing trail runs every couple months in my 06 Frontier NISMO. thing handles like a pt gaurd.

Did that some time ago, had an older ('91 make) Range Rover, modified from the 3.6 to the 3.9ltr engine and heavy-duty suspension, little else. Also a '98 make Toyota RAV4, which held itself up remarkably well (nothing compared to the Range, though). Offroad was always lots o fun.
Now both sold & gone. Should have held unto the Range.

Aquilius

I've got a 2000 jeep tj on 35" with a 4" lift.
Nothing else too crazy done to it, except a few cosmetic things and a flowmaster exhaust.
I'll try and get some pics up tomorrow.
