Question Workout Routine Comments

Hi Guys;

Hopefully I don't get flamed for this, but I've been going over the stickeys for the past few days. There are a lot of them!!

I am 21 years old, 6'0 / 150lbs and have not been very physically active for the past few years.

I have been trying to tailor a routine, and wanted your guys comments on it.

Full Body Routine, 3 Days a week.

Each Workout Day
Quads / Glutes: Lunges 10 reps / 2 sets
Hamstrings: Leg Curls 10 reps / 2 sets
Calves: Calf Press 10 reps / 2 sets
Chest: Bench Press 10 reps / 2 sets
Back: Pull Ups (assist) 10 reps / 2 sets
Shoulders: Shoulder Press 10 reps / 2 sets
Biceps: Dumbbell Curls 10 reps / 2 sets
Triceps: Cable Pushdown 10 reps / 2 sets
Abs: Crunches (argh)

Am I on the right track? Thanks guys.

it deepends what you want to do ..if u wana add mass...i dont recommend full body rutines expecially mixed w/ low sets......many ppl say that the # of sets arent important but it depends however......read the teen training articles in TBB for a perfect work out.....

Sup Oscar,

Yea I want to add mass for sure. This is where I am been confused. Some articles say full body is the way to go for people starting out, others say split it up.

Should I add more sets, or split it up?

more lifts for each muscle, more sets. but at least you're trying.
