Just looking for a little advice here. So here is my situation currently trying to gain weight but whether I was trying to bulk or cut is kind of irrelevant. How necessary is a carb supplement? I am usually able to eat within 30 minutes after my workout however the carbs I get in my meals are usually brown rice, wheat pasta, rice cakes etc. Would that "insulin spike" really be that beneficial through a carb supplement? If you have any additional information on post workout carbs I would love to hear it as well.
Thanks

Eat what you want, when you want, as many times as you want each day--just hit your macronutrients. Make it fit your prefs and lifestyle. The info behind your post is old and all it did was twist people into knots over their diet. This sticky thread is essential reading - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=121703981
