thats not correct. white people are naturally stronger in the upper body while people of african decent ( i say this cos i dont mean indians) have naturally lower bodyfat and hips tilted foward compared to white people. asian people are more flexible

yea think about it, watch the wrolds strongest man competition it is dominated by white people i dont think ive ever seen a black guy in it, then look at the NFL for example all the speed postions are dominated by black people WR's, HB's, ect... note i say dominated there are exeptions

Not necessarily, although I do recall reading somewhere that Africans have greater genetic diversity than do Caucasians or any other "race", due to Caucasians, Asians, etc. originating from Africa. It was explained something like this...

"Because of Africans greater genetic diversity, if you lined 100 Caucasians and 100 Africans up and told them to sprint together, there's a good chance rather than either completely dominating the other, some Africans, would have superior genes which would enable them to run faster than the fastest Caucasions, who because of their relatively limited gene pool, are at a disadvantage. I really haven't done any research on this yet, just what I read. However I don't know why Africans greater genetic diversity would still put them at a disadvantage at strongman contests, or swimming (two sports in which blacks are under-represented), and whether their greater genetic diversity only relates to certain genes. Maybe someone else can chime in.

its not just that, you have to look at culture also. i got laughed at by my "african-american" peers for playing soccer. how many "african-american" soccer players do you know of compared to caucasian american soccer players? the same thing goes for swimming.

i personally, used to believe that people of recent african decent where stronger than all other races, so theoretically, could never loose a fight. well, i was welcomed to the real world when i moved down south and met "white-boys" that i had no chance of even cursing under my breath. Also, i dont think mike tyson at his prime could have beaten bruce lee.

i dont think its a good idea to dwell on these issues. everyone should just work hard and thank God for what there are given.

My point is niether race is "naturally" bigger or stonger. Generally though, blacks may have more finely develpoed pyhsical bodies due to thier lifestyle and activities, but even this is not always true.

The whole discussion is nonesense. Even if you had a consistent defintion of what constitues a "race", which is something anthropologist done have; you would also need a method of confirming it, which a geneticist will tell you that you cant do.

So to say that a "black american" who is probably as much of a mutt as your average "white american" is intrinsically better at anything, while ignoring the countless social factors, is ludicrous.

well as sad as this may sound a theory about why "black" people dominate so many sports (in the usa) and tend to be more muscular etc.. is because when they were brought to america as slaves the owners only picked the biggest strongest healthiest ones.. and as sad as this is they made them have children and stuff..

so since blacks in the usa for the most part are staying within their own gene pool they are most likely going to be naturally more muscular and athletic..

Nordics, Polarks, and other northern european races are actually closer to cro-magnon man than blacks. They are also stronger and larger and more creative because they needed to be to survive in their barren freezing environment. they were subjected to the harshest conditions. Fierce cold weather.

There are many genetic freaks out there, both euro and african, who just sit down and grow, but that doesnt mean that its a norm, but as far as bodybulding goes, no euro or african has a definate advantage based purely on there general race.

Simply not true. I agree with the social factor theory. Black people over the past 20 years have had more options as far as jobs and such but early on athletics were a sure fire way to attain wealth. So people put all their energy in to playing sports.

I hate these topics on race because people continue to try to create seperatism instead of equality. NOBODY that is not racist cares about this. With the exception of people looking to blame there shortcomings on genetics in this case. Dumb topics

i think black people are not as good in anaerobic exercises because of lacking of an enzyme. that is why we dont have any lifters or swimmers that are black. there is a diferrence between the races concerning the amount of fast and low twitch musclefibers, that is why there are race dominations in diferrent sports

And yes - there are more blacks in football and basketball, because more of them see it at their only way out of a poor neighborhood (hip hop or ballin')... same reason there are more hispanic boxers.
