    how many grams of protein in a 1lb burger?

    i have been searchin but no luck, i just went to a steakhouse and had a huge 1lb burger and was just curious on how many grams of protein it had. i am sure a decent amount, what 40-50 maybe?

    At least, bro. I'm actually thinking more like 60.

    EDIT: For future reference, check out calorieking.com. All you gotta do is type in "ground beef" and it'll bring up lots of options: different leanness, etc.

    I think that there is 25g or so in 4oz. regular ground beef, more if it is lean. So you are looking at ~100g or more, depending on what kind you have. And a sh*tload of fat.

    well thats good to know then, i never really can determine the size of something by how many oz's it is, i never go by that. but since it was a treat i won't even think about how much fat was in it cause i could only imagine

    Yeah it is somewhere in the 80-100 range. 1/4 of a pound of lean beef is 22 grams or so according to giant eagle.

    25g protein
    4.5g fat


    so a lb would be 100g protein, and ~18g fat
