...yourself looking at restaurant food and comparing how much it actually cost them versus what they charge? I do. I'm always like "13.50 for chicken stir fry! It's only got 3.5 ounces of chicken it. That's a buck!!! These vegatable cost like 75 cents". lol I rarely eat out but I always find myself doing that whenever I do. Strangely enough I don't find myself doing that about vodka though.
As small business owners, they also qualify for wholesale prices (there's some license involved). The ingredients cost them a lot less than they do us.
hmmm, not really because the whole point of going out for a meal is to chose something you don't eat on a regular basis...i eat steak about 9 times in a month but everytime i go out for a meal i have to have a 250 lb steak with a big portion of hot french fries..yummy
